Diagnostic Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscope (a thin pipe with a light on the edge) is entered into the vagina. The patient can be either awake or under general anaesthesia during the procedure. The doctor is then able to see into your cervix and inside your uterus. If the doctor finds anything abnormal inside there, a sample is taken out for later testing.
